Welcome to SIAN-2008

����This second Meeting succeeds the previous inaugurating meeting of the US-China Workshop Series on Neutron Science and Technology (Nov 12-15, 2006 in Beijing). The first meeting highlighted China's two new neutron source projects, the China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR) and the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), to the world community. This second Meeting will focus on the applications of the neutron, and to a lesser extent of muon and proton beams, to science and technology. The goal of this Meeting is to explore opportunities of international collaborations between the universities and industrial establishments in Guangdong Province with the US and other countries, thus maximizing the impact of the CSNS on education and economic development in the local region.
